It’s interesting seeing how even the one city Mae’s home has in common with the main universe is significantly different between universes. She flies from antarctica to Smallville, commenting on the distance between the two and the difference between this Smallville and the Smallville of her home. She becomes confused, but a memory of Lex telling her that he has accounted for every possibility and she just has to trust him reminds her that she needs to find Superman. After this epiphany, she runs into Lana, carrying a Lex Oil box for some reason. I can’t tell what time of day it’s meant to be, the lighting is really weird and I can’t quite sort it out. Still no pointed skirt or sleeves, but no egregious colouring errors on the Mae page. I’m not a big fan of the faces here, but overall the art isn’t bad. I feel like Mae’s strange speech patterns are becoming more obvious here. I love her slightly stilted/formal speech ❤
