I’m not entirely sure why this was made or what it’s for, but as a promo for the Reign of the Supermen arc in 1993 DC apparently decided to make these little profiles for a couple of the characters (Mae, Kon, John Henry, and the Eradicator).

Mae looks super pink in the images for some reason. I appreciate the quote from her scene mourning Draaga in Adventures of Superman #489, because that scene really is pivotal for her character. The little factoid at the bottom saying she’s still connected to Superman psychically in 1993 is definitely strange and has some implications. It’s also strange to me that they call out her strength but not her flight or psychokinetic blasts. I wonder if they didn’t have the room or didn’t want to make her seem too OP. “Alter Ego: Matrix” is also strange to me, mostly because after Panic in the Sky they hardly ever call her Matrix, usually just Supergirl or Mae. The summary of her story up to this point is great!
